About Me

With over 26 years of experience leading service transformation in the NHS, my career began in helping systems and processes to work better. Over time, I recognised that the most profound and lasting change often comes not from systems, but from within ourselves. This insight led me on a journey from process improvement to self-improvement.

For the past six years, I have been sharing my passion for yoga, with a focus on calming the nervous system and supporting students to feel truly embodied. My teaching creates space for stillness, presence, and gentle awareness — helping people reconnect with themselves in a grounding and sustainable way.

Alongside yoga, I am a qualified somatic coach, working particularly with women to develop resilience, inner strength, and resourcefulness. I bring a holistic approach that weaves together somatic practices, coaching, and my diploma in NLP to help clients navigate challenges and create meaningful shifts in their lives.

Whether through yoga or coaching, my aim is to guide others in discovering balance, empowerment, and deeper connection to themselves.

What I have learnt about myself so far…

As part of my trauma informed somatic coach and teacher training I used the female archetypes to understand the roles that I relate to most. At the time of doing this analysis I was most connected to the warrior and mother. My desire to protect people whilst fighting for what matters most to them was the driver for this.

The Warrior within me brings courage, clarity, and purpose. I take a stand for what matters and try to lead with integrity and protect what I love.
The Mother within me offers empathy, nurture, and compassion. I always try to create a place of safety, belonging, and healing.

I bring out the fire of transformation within people, helping you to stand in your power. I am not a people pleaser and try to do what I feel is right rather than what people expect of me.

On the flip side, I bring the fire. A fire that can burn bright but can also bring about destruction when not harnessed properly. This has been a big learning point for me.

Being a woman there is an expectation that I will be a people pleaser, well why not when others get to benefit from it. In the workplace this has shown how difficult it is to be in this position. I understand how hard it is to stand in your power and to shun the traditional roles given to women.

Through my work I want to empower women to understand the roles that they identify with, how these have played a role in their lives and how they can draw from other archetypes to find balance as they move through a world that puts a lot of demands on them.
